When you register, you will receive your delegate badge and we request that this badge is worn during all conference sessions and meals. All attendees will be supplied colour coded badges, white: delegate, green: first time delegate.
Complimentary WIFI is available to all guests within the hotel. On connecting to WIFI you will be directed to the hotel’s website and asked for your email address to gain free access.
Various sessions throughout the conference will include voting on our dedicated audience engagement platform called Slido. Throughout the conference you will be able to express opinions by voting on live polls.

If you are presenting within the conference, please submit your presentation by email to email@example.com by Friday 23rd August 2019. Alternatively, please submit to the registration desk on arrival, and at least 30 minutes before your allotted session starts. We encourage you to bring your presentation on a USB stick, which can then be uploaded prior to your session. If you have any special IT requirements, please contact us prior to the conference at firstname.lastname@example.org
All accommodation is in the Queens Hotel. For residential delegates, check in time at the hotel is 15:00. Delegates arriving after 15:00 will be able to check straight into their bedroom. Luggage storage facilities will be available until your room is available at the main concierge desk.
All guests will be asked for a credit card authorisation to enable any extras to be added to your room. Please note that this is an authorisation only, and no payment will be taken unless you charge anything to your room. Your accommodation and all meals taken with the group in the hotel have been paid for in advance. You have the right to refuse to give a credit card, however you will not be able to charge anything to your room and will be asked to pay cash for any extras taken.
Please be advised that the hotel reception is manned 24 hours a day, and a guest facilities guide book is available in all bedrooms providing information on all guest amenities.
Delegates are asked to vacate their bedrooms by 11:00 on the day of departure.
OPENING ADDRESS AND AGENDA
All sessions for the conference will be located within the Queens Hotel. The sessions will be held in rooms located on different floors within the hotel and signage will be displayed to help you navigate your way around.
The conference opening address commences at 10:00 Wednesday 28 August 2019, in the Ballroom located on the first floor. The conference streams will be located in the Ballroom and meeting rooms located on the ground floor and first floor.
Supplier’s will be exhibiting within the Palm Court on the ground floor on Wednesday and Thursday. The Information Village will take place in the Palm Court, the Lobby and the Ballroom Foyer on Thursday only.

MEALS AND REFRESHMENTS
Pre-Conference Social drinks, for an opportunity to meet other delegates and the ARA Board in the Q-Club Lounge located on the top floor of the hotel.
Refreshment breaks and lunches will be served within the Palm Court on the ground floor of the hotel. Seating will be available during the lunch break in the John Charles Suite once sessions have finished for lunch. A buffet style evening meal will be served in the Queens Grill Restaurant in the basement, followed by a drinks reception at Royal Armouries Museum which is a 20-minute walk from the hotel or a short taxi ride away.
Refreshment breaks and lunch are served within the Palm Court on the ground floor of the hotel. Seating will be available during the lunch break in the John Charles Suite once sessions have finished for lunch. The Gala Dinner will be held in the Ballroom and will feature a live band until late.
The dress code for the Gala Dinner is smart party wear.

PHARMACIES AND DOCTORS
There is a dispensing Boots pharmacy located in Leeds Train Station concourse, within a 2- minute walk from the hotel (opening hours 06:00am - 12:00am).

The hotel is fabulously located in City Square within walking distance to the main shopping district and Trinity shopping centre is a short distance from the hotel.
Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA) serves most major international airlines. It's located 12 miles from the city and 25 minutes via taxi.
Airport buses run from the airport to Leeds Bus Station with National Express Flying Tiger Service 757:
Arrow Cars is the official taxi company for Leeds Bradford Airport that can collect and drop off immediately at the terminal building. The Arrow Cars office is immediately outside the terminal building on the right and can be booked in person at the office or by calling +44 (0)113 258 5888.
The Queens Hotel, Leeds, is conveniently attached to the Leeds Train Station. The hotel entrance is located on the main station concourse, head towards the exit and turn left between Boots Pharmacy and Millie’s Cookies. The hotel entrance is located on the right-hand side next to Paperchase. Alternatively exit the main station, turning left and the hotel is located along this road.
The Queens is within easy reach of the M62, M1 and M621.
From the south:
M621, M1 and M62 motorways follow the signs to Leeds city centre and train station, along Neville Street towards City Square. Pass under the railway bridge and at the traffic lights, take a left into the slip road in front of the hotel.
From the north:
Take any main A road into Leeds and then follow signs for the train station which leads you round the city centre loop road. At the top of Neville Street, at the traffic lights, take a left into the slip road in front of The Queens.

Valet parking is available at the Queens Hotel for £15.95 for 24 hours for residents only. Parking is on a first come first served basis. Additional parking is available at Riverside Car Park, Aire Street at Leeds City Station.
