Registration will take place in the entrance to the Grand Foyer on the entresol floor of the hotel, at the following times:
When you register, you will receive your delegate badge and we request that this badge is worn during all conference sessions and meals.
Complimentary WIFI is available to all guests within the hotel. On connecting to WIFI you will be directed to the hotel’s website and asked for your email address to gain free access.
Various sessions throughout the conference will include voting on our dedicated audience engagement platform called Slido. Throughout the conference you will be able to express opinions by voting on live polls.

If you are presenting within the conference, please submit your presentation to the registration desk on arrival, and at least 30 minutes before your allotted session starts. We encourage you to bring your presentation on a USB stick, which can then be uploaded prior to your session. If you have any special IT requirements, please contact us prior to the conference at email@example.com
All accommodation is in the Grand Central Hotel. For residential delegates, check in time at the hotel is 15:00. Delegates arriving after 15:00 will be able to check straight into their bedroom. Luggage storage facilities will be available until your room is available at the main concierge desk.
All guests will be asked for a credit card authorisation to enable any extras to be added to your room. Please note that this is an authorisation only, and no payment will be taken unless you charge anything to your room. Your accommodation and all meals taken with the group in the hotel have been paid for in advance. You have the right to refuse to give a credit card, however you will not be able to charge anything to your room and will be asked to pay cash for any extras taken.
Please be advised that the hotel reception is manned 24 hours a day, and a guest facilities guide book is available in all bedrooms providing information on all guest amenities.
Delegates are asked to vacate their bedrooms by 12:00 on the day of departure.
OPENING ADDRESS AND AGENDA
All sessions for the conference will be located within the Grand Central Hotel. The sessions will be held in rooms located on different floors within the hotel and signage will be displayed to help you navigate your way around.
The conference opening address commences at 10:00 Wednesday 29 August 2018, in the Grand Room on the entresol floor. The conference streams will be located in the Grand Room and Meeting rooms located on the entresol and first floor.
Supplier’s will be exhibiting within the Grand Foyer on the entresol floor on Wednesday and Thursday. The Information Village will take place in the Buchanan, the Great Western and the Wellington rooms located on the entresol floor on Thursday only.

MEALS AND REFRESHMENTS
Meet the ARA Board for an informal drinks reception in the Round Room, located in the Tempus Bar on the ground floor of the hotel.
Refreshment breaks and lunches will be served within the Grand Foyer area on the entresol floor of the hotel. A buffet style evening meal will be served in the Tempus Restaurant, followed by a drinks reception at Glasgow City Chambers which is a 10‐minute walk from the hotel.

The Gala Dinner will be held in the Grand Room and will feature a live band with dancing until late. The dress code for the Gala Dinner, is smart party wear.

PHARMACIES AND DOCTORS
There is a dispensing Boots pharmacy located on the Glasgow Central Station concourse, within a 2‐ minute walk from the hotel (opening hours 07:00am ‐ 12:00am).

The hotel is fabulously located on Gordon Street within the main shopping district and Princes Square shopping centre is a short distance from the hotel.
Glasgow Airport (GLA) serves most major international airlines. It's located 8 miles (13km) west of the city and 15 minutes via taxi.
Airport buses run from the airport to Glasgow city centre up to every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, and take approximately 25 minutes. A shuttle bus takes you from the airport to a stop next to the hotel (exit the bus at the second stop—Bothwell Street).

Prestwick Airport is 30‐40 minutes from the hotel by train. By Rail:
The Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow, is conveniently attached to the Glasgow Central Station. The hotel entrance is located on the main station concourse. The Queen Street Station is an 8‐minute walk away.
